Coverage behind the work.
Errors and omissions coverage is in place. What matters at least as much is where responsibility sits between your firm and Bursar - because your name is the one on the letterhead.
E&O coverage
In place. Specific limits and the certificate are shared under a diligence request rather than published, because they change on renewal and a stale figure on a web page is worse than none.
The signature
Every close is signed off by a credentialed reviewer before it is delivered. That review is a hard gate in the system: an unsigned file cannot be delivered.
The engagement
Your firm holds the engagement with the client, and the professional judgment stays with your firm’s reviewer. Bursar is a service provider to the firm, not to the firm’s client.
The record
If a file is ever questioned, the trail behind it - what was coded, what was chased, what was reconciled, what was open, who signed - is retained with the close rather than reconstructed afterwards.
Limits are shared, not published.
For limits, certificates, or a copy of the coverage summary, email hello@trybursar.com and say what your review needs.
